Daisies and Koi on a Large Stone

I just finished this large beach stone with daisies by the water. I added some koi for a little life action and to complement the gold tones.  Its a pretty big stone- 9 inches across and about 7 inches from top to bottom and weighs about 10lbs.

Getting Around to It...

Painted Rock With Texture

Here are some painted rocks with texture worked into the design.
The texture was made using "scribbles" which is a thicker acrylic paint in a little squeeze bottle with a tiny tip.

Happy New Year from Teresa's Rock Art  and Beach-n-Bling.

Here are a couple more rocks that I am working on that are almost finished. 

I call this my infinity rock.

This one is a rock that split open while I was drying it on the stove. (a wood burning stove) It's a good thing I wasn't in the room when that happened, because it sounded like a big firecracker and there were bits of rock all over the floor.

I am attempting a sunset at the beach scene on the inside surface of this stone.Be sure to visit my other blog.
